My name is Ney Montenegro and I am a Realtor® serving San Jose and Santa Clara county area. I like everyone else, had the “American Dream” of one time owning a home. After a few years of throwing my money down the drain in rent, I was able to buy my first home and after a few more years I found myself investing in real estate. Ever since then I have turned the tables around. I went from a renter, making the landlord rich, to now me being the landlord (a good one by the way) and now I am able to save for my future.

My passion and main focus is in real estate as well as investing in real estate. I am a strong believer that a house should be purchase with as much good information on your side as possible and someone to navigate you through the process so you end up buying your home with “your wallet” in mind and not on impulse.

I am dedicated to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and knowledge in real estate for my client’s best interest. To accomplish this, I stay current with the market in the Silicon Valley and because real estate is always changing, I am always striving to learn new things affecting real estate.

Besides being licensed by the California Department of Real Estate, I am also a REALTOR®, member of the Santa Clara Association of Realtors, member of the California Association of Realtors and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Many believe that there is no difference between a real estate agent and a REALTOR®. Being a REALTOR® means that we have to follow stricter ethics, rules and regulations than a regular real estate agent. My primary area of services is the Bay Area, especially San Jose but with our offices and our agents, we serve a big part of the community outside of the Bay Area as well.
